Grow from failure

How do you handle failure? Do you give up? Or throw a temper tantrum?

We’ve all heard it before. Don’t quit. Don’t give up. Fight back. Stand back up. Most of the time, this is what we do.

But sometimes standing strong isn’t the answer. Sometimes enough is enough. You may have fought a good fight. You stuck to your values and it still wasn’t enough. You keep standing back up only to get beat down again.

There are times when it’s ok to throw in the proverbial towel, throw that silent tantrum, or “give up”.

What matters is what you DO with that failure. Don’t just walk away and never look back.

Learn from it.

Grow from it.

Make it a turning point in your life. Rethink and reset and bring purpose to that failure.

Then, and only then, will that failure, that insurmountable challenge, that thing you just can’t seem to conquer, becomes a key stepping stone in your journey. That stepping stone will make you stronger in every way and you’ll think twice before getting to that point again.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about living life with service and intention to both yourself and others. Rise above it all and make waves as you go. You got this.
